My studio cohort studied abroad for a month, traveling across France and Italy. Cities we visited includes Paris, Versailles, Lyon, Vezelay, Avignon, Nice, and Monaco in France; and Genoa, Milan, Vicenza, Venice, Florence, Siena, the Vatican, and Rome in Italy. It invaluable to experience sacred sites, historical monuments, and new cultures throughout this trip. We spent much of our time sketching in pencil, ink, and watercolor.
